A Message from the Superintendent
of District 204
The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation has provided outstanding support for our students for more than 25 years. This volunteer organization has provided opportunities for teachers and students that would not have existed if not for the dedication of IPEF members.
From funding the first classroom Smart Board to our annual Fine Arts Festival, the work of the IPEF benefits our students in so many ways. Through its grant program, our teachers are able to enhance classroom instruction and spark a true enthusiasm for learning. The IPEF has generously funded all areas of the curriculum, at all grade levels, across our 33 schools.
Beyond the classroom, the IPEF responded when we suddenly lost a student athlete who had an undetected heart abnormality by providing free heart screenings for more than 16,000 high school students. The IPEF also cares for our less fortunate students by providing free back-to-school supplies and winter clothing.
These are only a few examples of the IPEF’s work. I invite you to explore this website and learn more about this organization and all the incredible ways it supports District 204’s students and staff.
