The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation and District 204 honored Clow Elementary School music teacher Ryan Henry with the A+ Award.

Parent Oralia Anderson called Henry a “phenomenal force” in her daughter’s daily life at school. “The passion that he brings every day inspires students to be better in everything they undertake,” Anderson said.
Parent Marcy Miller also spoke about Henry’s impact on students. “With guidance and encouragement, he has asked them to ask more of themselves. He has tasked them with really delving into how music enriches us, brings us together, identifies where we are from and reflects what we are aspiring to be as citizens of the world,” Miller said.
Henry started teaching 11 years ago. “I just love being with kids and I love to see what they can do because they can do a lot,” Henry said.
Wells Fargo Advisors is partnering with IPEF and District 204 to help recognize one staff member each month for making a difference for students. To celebrate these outstanding staff members, Wells Fargo Advisors donates $500 for the staff member to use in his or her school.
