Stacey Johnson currently works in Business Development and Preconstructive Services for Nova Group, Inc. a general engineering contractor specializing in waterfront and fueling system construction for the U.S. Department of Defense. Stacey’s career with Nova has spanned 26 years and three states – California, Hawaii and Illinois. She has served in a variety of roles including jobsite quality control, project management, proposal development and estimating.
Originally from Wisconsin, Stacey relocated with her husband from California to Illinois in 2002. Their two children have been enrolled in District 204 schools since kindergarten and currently attend Gregory Middle School. Stacey became involved at Builta Elementary as a parent volunteer, PTA member and committee chair. An avid distance runner, Stacey has participated as a Team IPEF Charity runner since 2015, helping encourage fellow parents and 204 staff to share her enthusiasm for the combination of two of her greatest passions, education and running.
Stacey holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of California at Davis.
